A Little About Me

I emigrated to Canada from Scotland many years ago and was hired as a Teller two weeks later by Royal Bank of Canada.  That led to a lengthy career in the Financial Services industry with both Royal Bank and Visa Inc.

I became a Real Estate Agent in later years because I knew that I would enjoy having the opportunity to develop relationships with people in a very meaningful way and that I would also find it rewarding to be in a position to help people make one of the biggest purchases/investments of their life.

I am an attentive, patient person and I am happy to give people all the time they need to make decisions and never make them feel rushed.  I  love helping clients find the perfect home for themselves and their family. I also enjoy helping first time homebuyers who may find the idea of a first purchase exciting, but also a bit nerve racking. I want to assure my clients that I will be with them every step of the way.

I should also mention that I have obtained official real estate designations (SRES® and ASA™) where I have received specialized training to help mature clients aged 55+.  As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I like to think of myself as a ‘concierge’ of lifestyle decisions and changes, and find it a privilege to help senior clients find the perfect home to suit their needs, both now and into the future.  For those wishing to downsize, the mere thought of it can seem overwhelming, but I am here to provide you with options to suit your individual needs and can connect you with experts as needed for packing, moving, etc. I can also connect you with lawyers, financial and tax specialists, as needed.
